The Statistical Institution of Turkey published the December 2019 unemployment figures.

Factoring in the 0.2 increase, the unemployment percentage now is 13.7%. In the non-agricultural sectors the unemployment is calculated as 15.8%.
The jobless rate increased on nearly all age groups. Again, comparing to the same period last year those who are unemployed in the 15-24-year-old age group increased by 0.5% and is now at 25% mark.
The employment figures also show a downturn, taking a hit of 0.5% the employment fell to 31.9%.
