There had been two bomb attacks targeting the police near Beşiktaş Stadium in 10th of December. The sound of two big explosions and gunshots were heard from the many parts of Istanbul. Stadium and surrounding area were immediately evacuated by police, ambulances were sent for injured people. At first Internal Affairs Minister Süleyman Soylu declared 20 people injured but noted that number of dead was indefinite.
According to the information from our sources on Şişli Etfal Hospital, there at least 50 injured, and there were more injured in Okmeydanı Public Hospital. There are no official declaration about the number of dead but Al Jazeera reported 15 death from the police force.
