As reported by Zeynep Yunculer of the Daily Birgun newspaper, in the town of Cizre, under military encirclement and heavy attacks the police now started shooting the firefighters.
Speaking to Bozo Acar, the head of Semikan Birligi, Yunculer reported, “(the government officials) are using a type of explosive that is known as “the bomber” against unarmed civilians.”
The “Bomber” bomb explodes into thousands of small parts when used. “This explosive is now being used by the Turkish forces in Cudi, Yafes, and Nur neighborhoods in the last 3 days. It caused damage to tens of homes and wounded hundreds of people. People are without water, electric or bread. Sick people can not be taken to the hospitals.”
The town is under a curfew for 7 straight days and nights. For the last 10 days there is an ongoing massacre against the town residence by the Turkish government. Bozo Acar has been investigating the issue in the town and warned that the entire population is at the verge of collapse from hunger, thirst, lack of electricity or any services.
Acar said the wounded are dying and the dead start to rot in the very hot weather. “The families are keeping their dead in deep freezes, refrigerators and cool storages. We are experiencing what people in Palestine or Afghanistan are not seeing.”
He also said, “anybody who calls themselves human has to know that there is barbarism in Cizre and they need to immediately come over here to lift the embargo. Otherwise the events will grow larger and there will be a huge massacre.”
The central Turkish government is preventing the local elected government from performing its services. Acar reported that diseases started to spread due to uncollected garbage. Increasing cases of diarrhea started to show in children. He added, “There is no water, kids can’t even find water.”
There have been a lot of fires in the last 10 days in the town; however the police shoot the firefighters to prevent them from putting out the fires.
It was also documented with videos how police in Cizre is also firing on ambulance drivers to prevent them from taking the sick to hospitals. This is the level Turkish government’s racial hatred has reached.
Already several people lost their lives due to curfew imposed by the Turkish government. The youngest was a baby of 35 days old, who could not be taken to hospital.
