Under the blockade of police, heaviest attack has happened during the night. In these attacks eight people were killed and bombs were blown up in Nur, Sur, Yafes and Cudi neighborhoods.

According to the news from Dicle News Agency (DİHA), Cizre experienced the most heaviest attack this night (The night linking 9th-10th of September). In Cizre, where bombs were blown up in the neighborhoods, people wounded during attacks cannot be taken to the hospital because of the police blockade. HDP Şırnak deputy Faysal Sarıyıldız, who is currently in the city, said that: “In Cizre, 12 artillery shooting has been executed only to Varol Street in Nur neighborhood. There is a massacre in Cizre! Enough! Give a voice to Cizre’s resistance of dignity”.

In Mezbaha Street of Cudi neighborhood, two women were killed during heavy artillery shooting. Three people were wounded, one of them was a child and one of them was critically wounded. It was found out that two women were bride and mother in law. HDP Şırnak deputy Faysal Sarıyıldız written in his social media account that women named Maşallah Edin were killed and her six months old baby Berxwedan Edin were seriously wounded.

Eşref Edim and his ten years old daughter lost their life in Varol street of Nur district. Artillery shooting first killed father Edim. Then, his daughter went out to take his father to the hospital, raised her hands to explain that they need to go to the hospital, but she was killed by sharp shooters. Child, who couldn’t reach to the hospital, was lost her life.

Four person were seriously wounded in Nur neighborhood. People are trying to treat the wounded with their own means as police doesn’t allow them to take wounded to the hospital.

Names of four of the eight citizens killed by law enforcers and some wounded are identified. In the house hit by an artillery shot during the night Zeynep Edin (18) and her mother in law Maşallah Edin (35) were killed, 11 months old Berğedan Edin and Ayşe Edin were wounded. In other neighborhoods Eşref Edin (55) and Sait Nayici (17) lost their lifes and citizen named Ekrem Dayan was wounded.

Corpses of dead in Cudi neighborhood were stored in a deep freezers of a grocery.

According to the news from DİHA, Yafes neighborhood residents stated that law enforcers particularly aiming at air conditioners of the houses to kill the people by the scattered metal bits. They also state that many people are lost their life because of bleeding as ambulances were not permitted to enter the neighborhood and they keep the corpses in the refrigerators and deep freezers to prevent deterioration.

Corpse of the Özgür Taşkın (20), who was killed by the police in Sınır Street, were taken to the Şırnak public hospital for post-mortem examination. Mother of seven Meryem Süne, who was killed by the police when she was sitting in front of her house, stored in a deep freezer of a citizen who sells meat in the neighborhood as police didn’t allow the funeral.

In city, where food and water shortage are appeared and contagious disease risk is increasing, at least eight civilian were killed and there are many wounded during the extensive attack commenced last night, according to the information from HDP Mardin deputy Mehmet Ali Aslan.
